Biology

How do ecosystems recover from disturbance? How does Parkinson's disease work? How do drugs function at the molecular level? In the Bachelor's programme in Biology you will address questions like these. By connecting biology, physics, and chemistry, you will develop new knowledge to advance medical technologies, improve health, and solve problems in the natural world.

This web class will introduce you to the majors of Biology. We’ll be discussing about a wide variety of topics out of this field of expertise. In the first week, the focus will be on marine biology. In week two, you’ll get introduced to cell biology, in week three you’ll learn about Evolutionary Ecology, and in week four, it will be all about neurobiology.

Spring edition

The spring edition of the web classes will take place from 9 March - 2 April 2026.

Registration via this site starts on Monday 2 February 2026 at 10:00 (CET). Registration closes on Wednesday 4 March 2026 at 23:55 (CET).
