Art History

As an Art History student a whole new world that has always been right there will open itself up to you. If you are fascinated by art, architecture and town planning, and/or interested in the development of landscape, then the Art and History of Architecture major is the perfect combination of study fields for you!

Web class

To get an idea of what it means to study Art History, all four central disciplines will be dealt with during this web class. Furthermore, you will learn all about how to look at and how to approach a work of art and how to deal with identity in art and architecture. All assignments included in this web class were developed by students and resemble the skills that you’ll develop during the first year of this BA. In other words, this web class is a perfect reflection of the first year of the bachelor Art History.

Spring edition

The spring edition of the web classes will take place from 9 March - 2 April 2026.

Registration via this site starts on Monday 2 February 2026 at 10:00 (CET). Registration closes on Wednesday 4 March 2026 at 23:55 (CET).
