As of 1 October 2026 you are able to apply in Studielink for a degree programme at the University of Groningen for the 2027-2028 academic year.

Registration procedures and deadlines

Information on how to apply and the most important deadlines can be found in the various registration procedures on our website. The steps involved in registering for your programme depends on your educational background (Dutch or non-Dutch) and the type of programme to which you want to apply.

Early Bird application option

You can participate in the Early Bird application option if you have a non-Dutch pre-education and are applying for a regular Bachelor's degree programme at one of the following faculties:

• Faculty of Science and Engineering;
• Faculty of Arts;
• Faculty of Law;
• Faculty of Economics and Business, with the exceoption of the degree programme International Business;
• Faculty of Spatial Sciences.
