Deadline paying tuition fees

If you want to start a degree programme at the University of Groningen on 1 September 2026, the UG must have received your payment no later than 31 August 2026*.
* For non-EU students, other deadlines may apply due to the immigration procedure.
Paying tuition fees when reregister
You do not need to do anything if you wish to pay the tuition fees in the same way as last year.
The UG applies a system whereby your payment details remain valid for the duration of your studies at our university.
Change payment details
Do you want to pay the tuition fees differently this year? Then you can change the payment details via Studielink. This is possible until 31 August 2026, at the latest.
