Reregistering
You must reregister for your Bachelor's or Master's programme every year. The reregistration procedure consists of two steps, which you must complete no later than 31 August 2026.
Step 1
You will receive an email from Studielink with more information on when you can reregister in your programme.
Step 2
You have to submit your reregistration request through Studielink no later than 31 August 2026
Exception: students with a binding (negative) study advice (BSA)
If you have been issued a negative BSA for a degree programme, you will not be able to reregister for this degree programme or for the cluster of related degree programmes to which the programme belongs, even if you have lodged an appeal against this advice.
Do you want to register for another degree programme?
If you want to enrol in another Bachelor's degree programme, you must have completed the following activities before the mentioned deadlines:

You have submitted a registration request via Studielink no later than 1 August.

Make sure that the UG has received your tuition fees (payment) or the authorization for a direct debit payment no later than 31 August.

You have taken part in the matching procedure.
Consequences of reregistering too late
If you do not arrange your reregistration on time you are not enrolled.
Consequences
This will have consequences for

Participation in education and exams.

any exams sat will be invalid.
-
Access to the University Library.
-
Your student grant from DUO.
-
Your student travel product (DUO).
Practical information
Paying tuition fees
You do not need to do anything if you wish to pay the tuition fees in the same way as last year.
The UG applies a system whereby your payment details remain valid for the duration of your studies at our university.
Change payment details
Do you want to pay the tuition fees differently this year? Then you can change the payment details via Studielink. This is possible until 31 August 2026, at the latest.

University card
Your current University card remains valid for the coming academic year.
Cancelling your reregistration
You can cancel your registration via Studielink up until the starting date of your programme. Any tuition fees you have paid will be reimbursed in full.
For example:

starting date is 1 September, then you can cancel your registration until 31 August.

starting date is 1 February, then you can cancel your registration until 31 January.
Do you receive a student grant from DUO?
To avoid financial problems, you must notify DUO that you have cancelled your registration.
