POSTPONED Join the UU & UG alumni gathering in Sydney

Share stories about your common background of having studied in the Netherlands. The University of Utrecht and the University of Groningen invite you to the alumni gathering in Sydney on the 18th of March.

The program of this evening consists of an inspiring talk given by professor Elske Salemink . Salemink will share her research for which she had received the UU-USyd collaboration awards in 2019. Her talk is entitled "Look at the bright side of life: The role of interpretation bias in anxiety and wellbeing" and will shed light on how we tend to view day-to-day situations through different colored glasses depending on split-second thought processes.

Furthermore, Dr. Salemink will present some training programs designed to encourage flexible thinking styles in everyday life.

After the talk and open discussion there will be plenty of opportunity for catching up with fellow alumni from both the University of Utrecht and the University of Groningen during the network drinks afterwards.
