Groningen participates in SwB undergraduate exchange 2015-2016

The last call in the first edition of the Brazilian Science without Borders program under the presidency of Dilma Roussef has been launched. And Groningen again participates.

Groningen has been home to over 200 Brazilians in the past few years and ranks among the top hosting Dutch research universities. We invite Brazilian undergraduates in many different areas to check out the opportunities offered by the University of Groningen.

Please note the difference between a research university and a university of applied sciences in the Netherlands and be sure to make your choice according to your own academic needs!

Deadlines

These are the important deadlines for the current call that aims for student who wish to start their mobility in September 2015:

  • Until 30 September 2014: Brazilian students apply with the Brazilian government (CNPq) to a mobility scholarship for the Netherlands (general country placement)
  • 1 October – 21 October: evaluation student files by Brazilian home university
  • 22 October – 15 November: evaluation by Brazilian government (CNPq)
  • 18 December: Pre-selection result release
  • From 5 January: student application with individual Dutch university
  • 16 March 2015 and onwards: publication selection results
