Sport meets Science

Initiator Chris Visscher tells about the Sport Science Institute where the University of Groningen, the UMCG and the Hanze University of Applied Sciences will bring together their sport research and teaching. ‘Sport and healthy ageing’, sport performance’ and ‘sport and sustainable society’ are the main focuses of the new Sport Science Minor.

The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
