The anatomy lesson
One of the highlights of the University Museum is ‘Muscle Man’, a skinless replica of a human being which shows us exactly what we would look like without our ‘coat’ on. The University acquired this life-size replica in 1844. It consists of 50 detachable components, which together demonstrate 1300 anatomical aspects.
The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
