Indonesia: visit to Groningen by the Center for Energy Studies of Gadjah Mada University
On 21 and 22 February, a delegation from the UGM Energy Study Center (Pusat Studi Energi PSE) visited Groningen for discussions about cooperation in developing hydrogen-based infrastructures. PSE Director Prof. Sarjiya and his colleagues met with counterparts at ENTEG and at the Wubbo Ockels School for Energy and Climate.
Next steps have quickly been decided upon, and a joint UGM/UG Summer School on Hydrogen Technology will take place in UGM (Yogyakarta) August 19-23 of this year. In addition, matchmaking meetings for double doctorate PhD research supervision will be organized during the visit.
On the Groningen side, the lead for this particular effort will be with Prof. Bayu Jayawardhana and Liza ten Velde of FSE, and Tim Zwaagstra of ISR.
