STQ symposium: educational innovation on programme level

Please note that the main language of this event is Dutch, since this is the Dutch STQ group. The English STQ group will present their projects in the Spring of 2027.

Are you interested in educational innovation and improvement at the programme level? Or would you like to learn more about the ideas, experiences and outcomes of STQ projects at other faculties?

About the STQ

The 19th cohort of the University of Groningen’s Senior Teaching Qualification (STQ) programme began over one year ago, in the fall of 2025. Intended for senior teachers who have the desire and ambition to play a leadership role in improving education at programme level, STQ teachers often “stand out” in their faculties due to their commitment and dedication to high-quality and/or innovative education.

The symposium

This symposium is a formal conclusion to the STQ where candidates present the projects they have been working on throughout the duration of the programme. Candidates will present their projects and share their insights, experiences and outcomes. It is a great opportunity to gain inspiration, discover new ideas and exchange perspectives on education with colleagues.

During each round of presentations, you can choose from a range of projects to attend. You are therefore free to attend the presentations that appeal to you most. However, we do recommend that you arrive or leave at the start of each session or during the breaks, so as to minimise disruption to the presentations.
