New UGP publication: Leren van de praktijk

The book Leren van de praktijk is now available online and open access at University of Groningen Press (UGP).
The book is edited by Gertie Blaauwendraad, Hanneke Muthert en Hanneke Schaap-Jonker.
About the book
This publication is intended for professionals in the field of meaning-making and aims to contribute to their reflection on their practice. Using case studies as a starting point, emerging professionals in particular can further develop their dialogical and hermeneutic competencies.
The focus is on the dimension of meaning in communication: how do you gain insight into the other person’s process of finding meaning, how do you listen in a way that helps the other person emerge, how do you gain insight into the influence of your own actions in that process, and how do you learn from practice as a professional so that you can provide appropriate (spiritual) care and contribute to expanding the inner space of others?
With contributions from: Gertie Blaauwendraad, Nicolette Hijweege, Gaby Jacobs, Hans Kling, Marjolein Kraaijeveld-Melse, Hanneke Muthert, Erik Olsman, Hanneke Schaap-Jonker, Michael Scherer-Rath, Wim Smeets, Marije Stegenga, Annemarieke van der Woude, Annemarie van der Vegt en Edwin van der Zande.
