The book Ik bedenk me is now available online and open access at University of Groningen Press (UGP).

Ik bedenk me is the second book in the series of collections around the guest authorship at the University of Groningen. Supervised by Marja Pruis, sixteen students wrote on the theme “on reflection”.

In a lecture and essay written especially for this guest authorship, Pruis seeks answers to questions about her life as a writer. Who is the “I” who speaks in novels and essays? Can I be trusted? Students also ponder, about their lives, their feelings and society. In recognisable and sometimes humorous ways, they discuss topics such as self-development, identity and connection.

This colourful prism of stories offers a glimpse into the thoughts of these budding writers.

The following contributed to this publication: Marja Pruis. Loes van Heuvel, Marjolein de Vries, J.L.T. Olde Scheper, Inge Leugs, Celine Li, Collin Willem van Heek, Marcel Benjamins, Hannan van Rooij, Chrystel Venema, Elianne Vening, Gido Zeegers, Velthe Veenstra, Lotte Heerink, Hanna Compaan, Stijn Hospers en Welmoed Leinenga.
