European Researchers' Night

The Jantina Tammes School is a proud partner of European Researchers' Night (ERN) in Groningen. This international science festival brings researchers and the public together with interactive workshops, exhibitions and citizen science projects.

In 2024, the theme was 'Living in a Smart World'; in 2025, 'Create Your Future'. At the Jantina Tammes School, we contribute by bringing science and society closer together, with activities in the city, the region and at schools.

With ERN, we show how research directly affects social issues and how everyone can contribute ideas about the future.
