Delegation Northwest A&F University (China) visits Rudolf Agricola School

On December 7th, a delegation from Northwest A&F University, led by vice president Wu Xiaocheng, paid a visit to the University of Groningen.

Northwest A&F University (NWAFU, also known as 'Northwestern Agricultural and Forestry Science and Technology University') is a Chinese national public university situated in Xianyang, Shaanxi.

The delegation was welcomed at the House of Connections by dr. Frans Sijtsma, drs. ir. Wanli Zheng and several research fellows from the Rudolf Agricola School, along with UG Secretary-General Dr. Stephan van Galen,

Dr. Frans Sijtsma is director is the Rudolf Agricola School, Wanli Zheng works as Lead Strategic Partnerships and Research Development for the Agricola School.

The discussions primarily revolved around sustainable food systems and agroecological regenerative agriculture. Both parties reached an agreement to collaboratively develop programs focusing on these areas.
