The Rudolf Agricola School for Sustainable Development is moving to the House of Connections, located in the Groot Handelshuis building on the Grote Markt, which is locally known as the former V&D.
The main entrance is on the right side of the front of the building, and after entering, you go straight up the large staircase to the central staircase. The House of Connections is located at the back of the central staircase on the first or second floor. It houses all four Schools for Science & Society of the University of Groningen, one of which is the Rudolf Agricola School for Sustainable Development.
The first floor serves as the event space, and the second floor is equipped with flexible office, meeting, and workspace areas. There are no fixed workstations, but if you need help finding someone or don't have an appointment, you can ask one of the caretakers, Jan-Willem or Andres.
The Agricola School is located in the Groot Handelshuis building on Grote Markt NZ in the heart of Groningen. The Grote Markt is easily accessible by public transport. For those coming by bike or car, further information is provided below.
The House of Connections has two elevators. At the entrance, directly to the right of the stairs, there is an elevator. This can take you to the evenfloor on the first floor. If you want to go to the office space on the second floor, you will find another elevator on the first floor, located in the back left corner, which can take you from the first to the second floor. Next to the front doors of the House of Connections, there is a doorbell. You can ring it if you need assistance with opening this door.
Due to the strict bicycle parking policy in the Agricola School's vicinity, it is recommended that you park your bike in the free bike cellar at the Grote Markt.
You can take the elevator from that cellar to the Agricola School on the first or second floor. All information about this bike cellar is available on their website.
(Note: Currently, the main entrance to this cellar is closed due to roadworks. You can still access the back entrance via an alley on Oude Boteringestraat, to the right of Land van Kokanje.)
