Paying with a DUO Loan
N.B. the Language Centre satisfies the Blik op Werk quality standard. This means that course participants who are obliged to participate in a civic integration programme can use their loan from the Education Executive Agency (DUO) to pay for their Dutch language course. The obligation to participate in a civic integration programme applies to all course participants who have not yet gained their civic integration certificate or passed the State Examination in Dutch as a Second Language.
If you have already passed the Inburgering A2 course or the State Examination for Programme I (B1) or II (B2), you no longer have this obligation and are thus not permitted to use a DUO loan for the course. If you want to use your DUO loan for the course, you should therefore not take any exams until after you have completed the course.
In this course, the second half of the book Nederlands naar perfectie is covered.
Nederlands naar perfectie, 2015, 1st edition (Publisher: Coutinho)
Emily Palmer, Miranda van 't Wout
Price: € 42.95
The course material is compulsory and must be purchased by the student. The book is available at our office during opening hours, check here if and when the desk is open. The book can also be purchased online as an e-book or regular book at, for example, Coutinho, Bol.com, or any other online bookstore of your choice. When purchasing a regular book online, pay attention to the delivery time to ensure that you receive the book on time. You can also often buy the regular book directly from your local bookstore.
N.B. You must purchase your own copy of the textbook for the Dutch courses. It is illegal to photocopy the textbook. Participants will not be allowed to proceed to the next level if they do not have their own textbook. If participants do not have their own textbook after 3 lessons, or are using a copy, they will have to leave the course. In such cases the Language Centre cancellation procedure will apply. The costs of the course will be charged in full and no reimbursements will be possible. Registration cannot be transferred to a subsequent course either.
Please note that courses will be cancelled if there are not enough participants. You will be informed of this no later than 5 days before the start of the course. It is a good idea not to buy your book before then.
