Are you going on an exchange to Sweden, and do you want to be able to communicate with your fellow students? Or do you have a holiday home in Sweden, and would you like to be able to understand your Swedish neighbours? If you know a little German and English, you’ll be able to make yourself understood in Sweden – using hand gestures and a few ös and ås if necessary. But it’s much more fun and practical to speak the local language!
We offer Swedish courses at two beginner levels in cooperation with the Scandinavian Translation and Information Bureau Netherlands (SVIN). These courses take you to the next level at a faster pace than SVIN’s own courses.
See below for our range of standard Swedish courses. Is the course you want to take not yet open for registration? Sign up for our newsletter, and we will let you know when you can register.
Would you like to learn Swedish at a higher level, or are you interested in one of the other Scandinavian languages? Then we recommend that you get in touch with SVIN. They offer Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, and Icelandic language courses for Dutch individuals and companies, and Dutch language courses for Scandinavians in the Netherlands. In addition to face-to-face courses in Groningen, they offer group courses and tailor-made courses throughout the Netherlands and online via Microsoft Teams.
