New academic year UGBS: start of executive masters and executive programmes

06 September 2018
Start new academic year

The University of Groningen Business School is also starting the new academic year! Aimed at the development of professionals and the organisations they work for, our Business School offers executive education at an academic level, with a practical view.

All four executive master’s programmes are starting this month, two of which are newly accredited by the NVAO: the Executive Master of M&A and Valuation and the Executive MBA for food & retail professionals. Furthermore our Executive Master of Finance and Control has been redesigned and may boast a nice full and various group of participants! The Executive Master of Accountancy is the fourth UGBS master that kicked off this month.

Besides the masters, two brand-new executive programmes start in September: firstly, ESG Assurance, especially designed to train accountants in integrated reporting, a theme which is becoming increasingly important and secondly Customer Experience Management, developed together with Altuïtion and our Customer Insights Center. This programme helps participants and their organisation develop highly effective customer experience strategies.

In November 2018, three more executive programmes will follow: the fourth edition of our health programme (Management en Economie in Zorg en Welzijn), the new Top HR Leadership programme aimed at HR-seniors and a two-day energy Masterclass about the transition towards sustainable energy systems without natural gas.

At the moment the total portfolio of UGBS encompasses 4 executive masters, 7 executive programmes, a masterclass and various tailor-made in-house programmes.

We wish everyone a successful new academic year!
