Please mark your calendars and join us on Thursday 28 March 2019 at Expositiezaal, (Harmoniegebouw) for the next DFH meet-up. This time we will showcase the tools and services for Digital Humanities: data in society and science. After short presentations and pitches, drinks will be served and there will be plenty of opportunities to try out the new tools and interact with your colleagues. Come and discover what is available to you and to the researchers you support.

15:00 - 16:40: Presentations of new developments in Digital Humanities
- Welcome by Susan Aasman (Director Centre for Digital Humanities)
- Digital Literacy and Inclusion in a Digital Society, Marcel Broersma (Professor Media and Journalism Studies)
- Data management (incl, sensitive data), Christina Englert (Coördinator Center for Language and Cognition)
- Demo Virtual Research Workspace, Sander Liemberg (Project manager Research Workspaces)
- Ephemeral data/Social media data, Rik Smit (Media Studies) and Marc Estevez del Valle (New media & Social Networks)
- Case (Reddit, Twitter), Christina Englert, Esther Hoorn (legal expert)

16:30 - 17:30: Hands-on demos of the tools, discussions and networking
- Discussion cases supplied by participants. If you want to present your own case to the experts, you can. Mail your case to DFH@rug.nl and the experts will discuss your case with you during this interactive part of the meeting.
