Data Workshop Osaka - Groningen

The University of Groningen has a long standing collaboration with the Osaka University. One of the new important focus areas for the collaboration will be Big Data. On Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 March 2018 we will give substance to this theme with a two-days workshop in Groningen.

During the workshop researchers will discuss scientific challenges related to their data intensive research. With this workshop we aim to explore further collaborations with the Osaka University. The focus will be on the following research fields:

  • Data science - Jos Roerdink
  • Nuclear physics - Johan Messchendorp
  • Bioinformatics - Morris Swertz
