UGBS Executive programma's AI for Financials

Incompany: AI for Financials

Practical and tailor-made

AI is present in your organisation, but how can you apply it concretely?

Many organisations understand the potential of AI in broad terms, but struggle with the question: How do we put this into practice within our team or department? With a tailored incompany programme, we help you not only understand AI, but also apply it effectively in your daily work processes.

What will you learn in this programme?

The training is specially designed to align with the wishes and challenges of your organisation. During the session(s), the following themes can be addressed, for example:

A (short) introduction: the basics of AI

What is AI and how does it work? Which forms of AI are relevant for financial professionals? We lay the foundation so that everyone can follow.

AI policy

How do you develop an AI policy that fits your organisation? Which frameworks and guidelines are important? And how do you involve your colleagues?

Data and algorithm quality

AI is only as good as the data and algorithms you use. How do you ensure their quality? And how do you recognise pitfalls?

Practical cases and ‘how-to’ use of AI

Using concrete examples and cases from financial practice, you will learn how to use AI to make your work more effective, enjoyable, and efficient. Special attention can be given to tools such as CoPilot (on request).

Who is this programme for?

This incompany training is intended for financial professionals, controllers, financial managers, and specialists who:

  • Already see AI in their organisation, but want to know how to apply it in their own work.
  • Are looking for practical tools to integrate AI into their team or department.
  • Want to learn how to use AI to make their work more effective, enjoyable, and possibly even perform certain tasks with fewer people.

Programme structure

The content and duration of the programme are tailored to your wishes. Some examples:

  • Short session (4 hours): An inspiring and interactive lecture on the basics of AI and practical applications for financial professionals.
  • In-depth programme (2 days): In addition to theory, there is plenty of room for practical cases, discussions on policy, and working on an AI issue from your own organisation.

Why choose an incompany programme?

  • Tailor-made: The content is aligned with the specific issues and challenges of your organisation.
  • Practical: You learn directly applicable skills and gain insight into how to use AI within your team.
  • Flexible: You choose the duration, location, and depth of the programme yourself.

Lecturers

The training is provided by Prof. Dr. Lineke Sneller and Dr. Sasan Mansouri, both affiliated with the University of Groningen. They combine in-depth theoretical knowledge with practical experience and believe it is important to bridge the gap between science and daily practice.
