Why is the hackathon being organised?
The agricultural sector in the North of the Netherlands is presently organising itself in order to be better capable of facing present day and future opportunities and challenges. An important step in this process is “het Landbouw pact”, a joint approach from farmers, governments, companies, knowledge and societal organizations with shared ambitions. Het Landbouw pact will form the starting point of your activities during this hackathon day. The hackathon is initiated by the AgroAgenda Noord Nederland, a network organisation connecting more than 50 partners in the agri-food sector in the Northern Netherlands. Its network includes provinces, farmer organizations, NGOs, financial institutions, municipalities and knowledge institutions. This event is co-organised with Van Hall-Larenstein, DCTerra and Aeres.
