Sustainable Society booth at the PhD Day 2021: Make it in the North!

09 June 2021

On Friday 4 June 2021, the Sustainable Society was present at the PhD Day 2021: Make it in the North with a booth. The PhD day included a wide variety of activities, presentations & workshops related to doing a PhD, and careers both inside and outside academia.

The Sustainable Society was present at the PhD Day with a booth to introduce participants to the Sustainable Society PhD Grants ceremony, which will be held on 16 November 2021. To spur young researchers to work on societal challenges, Sustainable Society offers a grant for University of Groningen PhD candidates. This grant enables PhD candidates to broaden their horizon and give their research output an extra push. At our booth, the PhD students received information about the grants that will be awarded and they could watch a video of a previous PhD grant winner.
