The University Library during the holidays

11 December 2019

During the holidays the University Library will be open as often as possible.
The Special Collections department, as well as the DNPP  will be closed from 25 December until 1 January.

Service

Between Christmas and New Year's day, the Service desk will offer limited services:

  • In this period, no new library cards can be issued.
  • Requests for books can be made, but these cannot be processed until 2 January 2020 (N.B. this also applies to ILL books). Therefore, it will take longer before the books are available in Self service A. You will receive an e-mail once the publication is ready for pick-up.
  • Would you like to borrow a book from one of the reading room collections? Take the book off the shelf yourself, and check it out at the Self service B (ground floor, at the bottom of the stairwell).

Special Collections department

The Special Collections department on the 3rd floor of the UL City Centre is closed until Thursday 2 January (10 am).
