Compulsory literature/Course reserves
The compulsory and recommended course literature is purchased based on the information in Ocasys. Therefore, teachers do do not need to submit a separate request for these.
Would like to prescribe an e-book for a college? Please contact one of the collection specialists. They can inform you about the possibilities.
For questions about Ocasys, contact your secretariat or the Ocasys coordinator.
Would you like to recommend a different publication for inclusion in the library's collection? If so, please use the acquisition suggestion form.
Where can I find the publication I am looking for?
SmartCat shows all publications held by the University Library. Online publications are immediately accessible, printed material can be found on the open shelves or ordered through SmartCat.
In the course reserves you will find publications lecturers have reserved. You will find the course reserves on the 1st floor. These publications are not lendable and cannot be borrowed; they can only be used within the UB City Centre, so that everyone can access them. If required, you can use the photocopier on the same floor.
Lecturers can reserve publications for tutorials on the course reserves (at a maximum of 100 titles per class). Publications may be borrowed; therefore we ask you to request the desired literature at least 5 weeks in advance via the webform.
If you have any questions, please contact wcm-bibliotheek rug.nl .
