Emerald agreement: approaching annual quota
According to the agreement between Emerald and the VSNU (Association of Universities in the Netherlands), corresponding authors from Dutch universities are entitled to 71 open access vouchers in 2021. We expect vouchers to terminate in December 2021. From that moment on, if publishing open access, corresponding authors of participating universities will no longer be able to publish without additional costs, but can instead claim a 10% discount on the regular Article Processing Charge (APC). The discount applies for both Emerald's hybrid and fully open access journals.
