Language Centre retains Blik op Werk quality label

For the fifth time in a row, the University of Groningen Language Centre has successfully passed the audit for the Blik op Werk quality label. This means that the quality label is extended for another year. The label is important since newcomers who follow the civic integration process can only spend their DUO loan at schools with a Blik op Werk label.
This year, the audit included classroom visits for the first time. The Language Centre received an excellent evaluation on this point. Blik op Werk is also very positive about the intercultural expertise at the Language Centre: ‘The teachers address various typical features of Dutch society in a captivating way, including all sorts of nuances, such as regional differences, hidden hierarchical relationships, etc. This language course provider shows a clear focus on intercultural competences.’
Another unique feature of the Language Centre is that its courses are specifically aimed at highly educated people in the civic integration programme. Thanks to the fast-paced lessons, students quickly become proficient in Dutch. Curious? Visit our website.Last modified: | 15 January 2019 11.35 a.m. |
