Can I use DataverseNL?

DataverseNL is a generic repository, which means that it supports any research subject and recommended file formats. It is our UG-supported archiving solution.

The aim of DataverseNL is to publish information about your dataset (metadata) as well as the data files and documentation either as open as possible or with access restrictions. The general condition for using DataverseNL (or any repository) is that at least part of the data is available for re-use.

Additionally, two limitations for using DataverseNL apply:

• The dataset contains data that is highly sensitive or confidential.

• The dataset is larger than 100 GB or files are larger than 8 GB.

If limitations apply, the DCC can help you find out applicable solutions.
