New mini-lecture AI meets the Clinic
The Data Science Center in Health (DASH/UMCG) presents: AI Meets the Clinic. This mini-lecture is given by Britt van Akker, project manager at COSMONiO. In the lecture she talks about their own AI-based product NOUS, a pattern recognition software, and she demonstrates what it can do. She also discusses the added value of AI in clinical practice and the current regulations around adaptive AI.
Part of the work was made possible by the DAME (Deep Learning Algorithms for Medical Image Evaluation) project and INTERREG Deutschland Nederland. The DAME project is about the development of software algorithms for the detection of abnormalities in medical images based on Machine Learning.
