Love Languages Event

Have you had your eye on a language for a while but feel nervous about taking the first step? Or have you been getting to know each other for some time and want to know if you are compatible long-term? If so, come to our Love Languages Event on 13 February to find your match!

Free language workshops

During the Love Languages Event, you can attend several language workshops. The event is free and open to all language lovers from within and outside the University of Groningen. Our language teachers offer two types of workshops:

▸Workshop 1 - Find your match!

We organize Find your match! introductory workshops for all languages. Here, you will discover how our language courses are structured, meet the teacher, and take your first steps in the language. These workshops are ideal for anyone who wants to take a beginner's course or try a course at the Language Centre for the first time.

▸Workshop 2 - Going long-term?

For languages in which we offer more than just a beginner course, we also organize Going long-term? workshops. In these thematic workshops, we dive into a cultural topic or distinctive aspect of the language. These sessions are ideal for anyone who has already embarked on a language adventure and wants to take it further, but beginners are very welcome too!
