Café de las Lenguas returns!

Practise your languages in an informal setting on Thursday 30 September
24 September 2021
Café de las Lenguas

After a long, necessary absence and a few virtual attempts, Café de las Lenguas is returning with its first new in-person edition! On Thursday 30 September from 7 to 9 p.m., you can come by the language cafe to practise speaking in a foreign language in an informal manner.

Are you wondering how such an evening exactly works? Everyone is welcome at the language cafe: participants of all ages and nationalities, and students as well as non-students. ‘Language tables’ will be set up depending on who is participating. Both native speakers of a language as well as participants wanting to learn that language can sit at each table. During the evening, you can switch back and forth between the tables of your choice. This way, you can improve your own language skills as well as help other language learners, meet new people, and get a taste of different cultures!

Where: Marie Lokezaal, Harmonie Building (Oude Kijk in ‘t Jatstraat 26)
When: Thursday 30 September, 7 – 9 p.m.
Further information: Café de las Lenguas

Although we can now organize these sessions due to the relaxation of the coronavirus restrictions, the pandemic is not yet over. We therefore kindly ask all participants to behave responsibly and to act in accordance with the current restrictions.
