The updated edition of Nederlands in Gang, one of the most widely used teaching methods for Dutch as a second language (NT2), has been published this week by Boom Publishers. Developed by NT2 teachers Berna de Boer, Margaret van der Kamp, and Simone Pentermann from the University of Groningen Language Centre, the method includes a wealth of new content and is even better tailored to the needs of theoretically educated adults studying or working in the Netherlands.
In June, July and August, you can take intensive summer courses in Dutch at the Language Centre. An intensive course means you have a lot of lessons in a short period of time, allowing you to be fully immersed in the language!

'Potje Nederlands' is the new interactive podcast from the University of Groningen Language Centre, designed to help non-native speakers practise Dutch at A1 level. A new episode will be released each week from Monday 13 April. The introductory episode is already available for listeners to familiarize themselves with the format.
A year ago, the Writing Centre opened its doors as part of the University of Groningen Language Centre. With over 300 free coaching sessions for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students, as well as well-attended Writing Days, the team looks back on a successful first year full of valuable encounters and, above all, significant progress in writing skills!
