Changes EndNote on UMCG network

On Thursday 26 November, the way you work with EndNote on the UMCG network or via toegang.umcg.nl will change. EndNote desktop itself will not change, but working with EndNote in Word will be different. To work with EndNote in Word, you have to select the shortcut “EndNote for Word” in the start menu. You can then open the file you want to work with via ‘File > Open’.

When EndNote is started you will see two notifications:

1. New update: EndNote 20. You can ignore this. Updates for EndNote need to be installed centrally, you cannot do that yourself.
2. EndNote Click. This browser extension makes it easier to access journals that the library has a subscription to at home. 'EndNote Click' also searches for open access versions of articles that are behind a paywall. For more information, email to: a.j.p.van.den.brekel umcg.nl or r.f.ottjes umcg.nl
