The same opening hours apply to both locations, except that on weekdays, the 'Silent Study Areas' open one hour earlier, namely at 07:30 am.

Hanzeplein location - access only with authorization
The Medical Library in the Central Medical Center (Hanzeplein – Y4) is a library facility that is exclusively accessible to PhD students, researchers, and physicians. For this target group, the space is available 24 hours a day. Access is only possible with a staff access card for which entry has been authorized. Department heads may submit a request to the medical library to grant access to staff members from their department.
