Free Academic Language Portal
This portal is focused on Dutch academic skills only
How do you write a text at an academic level? On our Academic Language Portal, you will find comprehensive information about the academic writing skills you will need during your studies. With a clear step-by-step guide, we will take you through the entire writing process. You will learn how to write clear, well-structured texts, understand when to quote or paraphrase, and cite your sources correctly.
Free Writing Days
During the 2025–26 academic year, we offered several free Writing Days. The Writing Days have been specifically designed to motivate you and offer a quiet working environment and the possibility of personal coaching. You will spend a whole day writing in a small group setting of up to 15 students, and, if you want, you can ask for personal coaching from our writing coach who will be present on the day.
