Sharing images made with BioRender
Many UMCG employees use BioRender. You can use it to create biomedical illustrations. But beware: this is a commercial service. BioRender requires that all these illustrations are attributed to BioRender with the phrase ‘Created with biorender.com’. The copyright of the image rests with BioRender.
Publish
If you want to publish an image made with BioRender, for example in a journal article, it is not free! It cannot be reused for free either, even if the article is published under a CC-BY license. Read this article about BioRender.
More about sharing self-made material: who owns the copyright? The UMCG or the creator?
