Endnote is being updated

Tuesday, August 11th EndNote on your UMCG (Intune)-laptop will be updated to version 25.3.

EndNote 21 will be removed first.

The 21 version will be automatically removed.

You might see a short notification.

During removal a short Windows-notification might appear.

EndNote 25.3 will become available

After remoal the new version will be installed.

If the old version is NOT removed, or when the new version does not appear after some time, please RESTART your laptop completely.

This change should be automatic. Do not turn the laptop off. Do not close it.

Good to know

• It might take some time for the Endnote 25.3 to become available.
If it takes more than 3 hours, please restart the laptop.

• Your Endnote library-files are not removed. You might need to select the last use library when starting Endote 25.3 up for the first time.

• "Endnote for Word" will be discontinued. The plugin Endnote will be available in the normal Word from now on.
  

UPDATE:

There will be a new push of a renewed flexapp of the Endnote update, on Saturday August 15th.

A complete reboot of your laptop/device is crucial in triggering this new sync to your device. (Just to logoff and login again, will NOT be sufficient!)

Please make sure that Word and Endnote are CLOSED before the reboot.
