New agreement for the reuse of copyright material for education
The Universities of the Netherlands (UNL) and the Publishers Organization for Educational Licenses (Stichting UvO) have reached a new agreement on the (re)use of texts and images for education, laid down in the 'Easy Access Regulation'.
What does this mean for lecturers?

Teachers can use material up to and including 40 pages with a maximum of 20% of the entire work from which it is taken.
In the previous agreement, this was 50 pages and 25% of the size of the entire work.
Please note: The UG policy stating that no Pdfs of copyrighted material may be posted on Brightspace still applies.
