Implementing (links to) digitally available literature in Nestor and Readers
Most faculties and UMCG do not allow the use of full text publications in Nestor. A good alternative is to use a link to articles in e-journals or (parts of) e-books under licence of the university, or published in open access. This way, no payments have to be made for copyrights, and notifying Stichting PRO is not necessary.
To determine whether a certain text is available online, or part of a university licence, you search for the article or e-book in SmartCat. Make sure you submit a persistent link to Nestor. In the menu on the left you will find more information. For questions, please ask email@example.com .
