  • Do I have access to the UL during examination periods?

    During examination periods, University of Groningen students, staff and other university library card holders have access to the university library. Hanze students do not have access during this period.
  • Will I still have access to the University Library when I am no longer a student or staff member of the University of Groningen?

    As a rule, anyone has access to the University Library. You do, however, need an access card. During examination periods the University Library is only accessible to students and staff of the University of Groningen and other holders of a University Library card.   • Will I have access to literature when I am no longer a student or staff member of the University of Groningen?

    The literature in the study rooms is freely available for perusal. You do, however, need an access card. If you wish to request literature from the repository, you will need a library card. For more information, see Access and library card.
