Open Call: Join the Eureka! Science Festival at Forum Groningen

This fall, it’s time once again for a festive celebration of science. Join us and share your research with the public. 

Eureka! for all curious northerners/Groningers

It has become a tradition: a vibrant science festival at Forum Groningen on the last Friday of September. On Friday, September 25, 2026, there will once again be a program packed with science battles, exciting games, interactive installations, lectures on science, and music. 

The festival has a new name: Eureka! (formerly European Researchers’ Night). The festival is also slightly smaller, but we still expect around a thousand visitors. In the afternoon, there is a programme for high school students, and in the evening for curious residents of Groningen, who purchase a ticket for the festival.

Drop by to receive practical tips, discover engaging ways to connect with your audience, and get advice from experienced peers and science communication specialists.
