Automatic import of press/media items

As of 1 November 2020, press/media items (e.g. interviews, news articles) of UG researchers are imported automatically into Pure. This applies to Press/Media items in which the name of a researcher AND the University of Groningen or UMCG are mentioned.

The sources include local, regional, national and international news items from different media (TV, radio, blog, podcast, etc.) as long as they are available online. Printed only Press/Media items are excluded.

Note: These items will be imported weekly and automatically into Pure without being directly visible on the profile pages. The items can be made visible on the RUG research portal by changing the status from Entry in Progress to For Approval. This can be done by the researchers themselves, by Pure coordinators, or by the communication agency of your faculty/institute. A press/media item with approved status can no longer be deleted. A press/media item with the status approved can no longer be deleted! For this, please contact pure rug.nl. Also if you have any other questions.

For more information about this functionality or the workflow within your faculty/research institute, please contact your Pure coordinator.
