Together for more healthy years in the North of the Netherlands and Northern Germany

We combine our strengths in the Health4DE-NL project to improve the health of people living in the northern regions of Germany and the Netherlands. After all, health doesn’t stop at the border: EU citizens have the right to access healthcare services in any EU member state and be reimbursed by their home country.

This opens doors to more treatment options and closer collaboration between healthcare professionals, hospitals, policymakers, and healthcare services on both sides of the border.

The Health4DE-NL project, led by the Cross-border Institute of Healthcare Systems and Prevention (CBI) funded by the Interreg IV Germany–Netherlands programme, the European Union, the Niedersächsisches Ministerium für Bundes- und Europaangelegenheiten, and the provinces of Groningen and Fryslân, has a total budget of €3.2 million.
