In the Dutch-German border region, communities and health institutions face unique challenges in preventing disease. Although the Dutch and German healthcare systems differ, many of the challenges faced on both sides of the border are surprisingly alike. How can we learn from one another across the border to strengthen prevention efforts and reduce health disparities?

Join us at the next Cross-border Health Meet-up:

Prevention without borders: Tackling health disparities in the Dutch-German border region together

During this event, we will explore the role of prevention in reducing health inequalities and improving health outcomes for communities across the Dutch-German border region. Through inspiring keynotes, practical examples, and interactive discussions, we will share knowledge and strengthen cross-border health collaboration.

Why should you attend?

1. Put border communities at the centre of the conversation: while prevention is high on the agenda, the specific challenges and opportunities faced by disadvantaged communities living in border regions are not always fully recognised.

2. Gain a broader perspective on prevention: prevention is much more than primary prevention. Explore how primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary prevention play an essential role in health.

3. Be inspired by practical examples: discover local initiatives that show how prevention at all levels can contribute to healthier communities across the DE-NL border region.

4. Expand your cross-border network: connect with stakeholders from both sides of the border.

5. Stay informed about the Health4DE-NL Interreg project: discover how it is strengthening cross-border health collaboration.
