Inaugural Meeting Aletta-theme "Health as Lived Experience"

We, Mike Huiskes and Christoph Jedan, have been appointed co-leads of the theme "Health as Lived Experience" by the Aletta Jacobs School, and we want to invite you to an inaugural meeting. Our aim is to brainstorm, discuss and plan concrete steps to take the theme of Health as Lived Experience forward and to make it a hub of co-creation with stakeholders and of collaboration among academics.

To pique your interest, and to offer a kind of initial “gambit”, we have written a “conversation starter”, a short document putting together a few ideas: where do we see a lacuna worth addressing? You can find the document here. Perhaps you agree with our ideas, but quite possibly you have additional and even better ideas. Our first meeting is dedicated to teasing out what these ideas are, and who would be willing to lend us a hand, an address book, and of course good humour to make them happen!
