About the centre:
The Groningen Centre for Health & Humanities (GCH2 ) at the Faculty of Arts joins together researchers working on topics related to history of medicine and the body, historical demography, gender, health politics, art history, architecture, linguistics and literary studies. Our interdisciplinary research, often together with health professionals and policy makers, is aimed at understanding the cultural, historical, social and political mechanisms of health and wellbeing. An important role is given to the question how we can apply this body of knowledge in every-day practice.
