dr. Annelies Kassenberg
Annelies Kassenberg is a sociologist and Professor of Youth & Living Environment at Hanze University of Applied Sciences. Her research focuses on strengthening the living environment in which children grow up, to ensure that they have the very best opportunities to grow up healthily. Collaboration between professionals and parents, and a neighbourhood-oriented approach, are important themes.
Youth & Living Environment
We want the Youth & Living Environment research area to contribute to the creation of an inclusive society. Its research focuses on youth and parents in general (prevention) and on vulnerable youth and parents in particular. Our key priorities are equal opportunities and participation.
The Youth & Living Environment research area falls under the Youth, Education and Society professorship and is part of the Centre of Expertise Healthy Ageing. The research area is linked to the School of Social Studies and works closely with the School of Education.
