Ordering photos

The condition of the material permitting, the Library honours requests for photos of books, manuscripts, maps and prints.

Orders can be placed using the appropriate form, which is also available at the departmental service desk. Sometimes the condition of the material does not allow certain forms of reproduction. This is at the discretion of the curator.

Rates and delivery times

Photos are made by an external photographer, who sends the digital or printed images to the specified address, along with the invoice.

Fee
Digital colour photo: EUR 10 (start-up costs) + EUR 2.50 per image (surcharge for different sizes!) Note that an additional fee is charged for commercial use.

It is possible to order colour or black and white prints of digital photos. Please inquire about the possibilities and rates.
