The National Groningen Programme Monitor
The National Groningen Programme Monitor is published annually and shows the program's benefits for residents, the economy, and the living environment in the province. The monitor tracks the development of broad prosperity in Groningen and provides insight into the impact and outcomes of the measures implemented within the National Groningen Programme.
Aletta Advies, along with KplusV and the Groningen Social Research Institute (SCP), is part of the consortium responsible for monitoring the National Groningen Programme. Aletta designed the original monitoring framework in 2019 and has been part of the core team that conducts and manages the annual monitors since its inception. Together with researchers from the University of Groningen, Aletta Advies developed the Broad Prosperity Index of the National Groningen Programme (BWI-NPG), which measures the development of broad prosperity at the regional level. Aletta also supervised the development of the Image Monitor, a joint project of the University of Groningen and Hanze University of Applied Sciences. In 2025, the consortium will also conduct an ex-durante evaluation to examine the program's effectiveness throughout its lifetime. The annual monitor can be found on the website of the National Programme Groningen.
